What Is The Meaning Of The Small Cross Tattoos?
Two of my parents friends, both guys, about 45 years old have the same small - i'm talking 1 inch - cross tattoo.. It's as simple a design as you can get, two intersecting lines.. I'm not even sure if they're ''real'' tattoos, they look like they were done with a more traditional - sort of tribal - type method. One of them has it on his forearm, the other his middle finger.
So what does it mean? I've heard some things like gang or drug affiliations, which is a possibility..but offshore pharmacies it's definitely not the whole 'they killed someone' thing. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Are they Egyptian more specifically Coptic Orthodox Christian? Copts have small tattoos usually on the inside of their wrist of on their middle fingers to symbolize the struggle of their faith.
COPTIC CHRISTIANS in Egypt, tattoos are part of their religious life. Back in the day Pilgrimages were hugely important, and the only way to prove you had been to the Holy Land, for instance, was to return with a tattoo of the kind that only a Coptic priest was permitted to apply. The designs were applied from woodblocks in order to speed up the process, the most common tattoo being a small cross on the inside of the wrist. Operating from stall outside the walls of Jerusalem, the priests’ work was rough, but you might say it was the thought that counted. Only with the tattoo would folks back home believe you had actually prayed at the holy shrines

Hi, i just wanted to state that in my opinion, the furthest away from cliche, tattoo idea, would be one that you have created based on your lifestyle, body and taste.
Tattoo's are very much used as a form of expressing ones self, if your decision is influenced by strangers inputs of what would be appropriate for you, then that originality has been lost.
Which in the end, is the most cliche you can get.
I hope this helped and i wish you good luck on your ideas.
I want to give my boyfriend (of 10 months) a gift certificate for himself to go get a tattoo for his 22nd birthday. He already has several tattoos and talks
Tattoos at conventions are regular/higher in price, the same with the quality. All depends on the design and artist, get a normal artist with a normal design it will be the same as going to the artists shop, get one of the top artists and you will be paying much more.
