I actually think that will be a very nice tattoo and the hip would be a great place to have it, very sexy indeed. I have one small tattoo in that spot, it was sensitive rather than painful when the tattoo was being done. I am a girl, but I think it would look much better on your hip than your shoulder.

I'm perhaps maybe the only person that can answer this for you. I have an exact replica of Seth Gecko's fire flame tribal from the movie From Dusk 'Till Dawn. Mine is identical to Seth's and it does indeed go up my neck. It's a very hard tattoo to do as you have to get perfect angles of every detail (which I did) along with drawings on parts that can't be seen. My tattoist was so pleased with it that he said it's the best looking one he's ever seen/done. In regards to one of your previous questions…It took me 10 hours to complete, and cost me over £750.00. Worth every penny in my book and everyone that see's me thinks it's cool. And my wife calls me her George Clooney now.
