i'm in agreement with the previous answer. i'd like to add that the qualifier "good enough" is the issue – you'd probably have to blow tattoo parlor artists away with your work – not just be good enough. and then the pricing is more likely to be based on "if someone wants it" and then you'd probably have to almost give your work away – not an easy market to get into – imo. dont be discouraged tho – plenty of people are looking for new/unusual work – talk to your circle of friends and activities – see if there are people interested in what you are doing – interested enough that they will use your design on themselves and back it up by doing so – when you reach that level you may be able to start your own clientel list. i suspect that most tattoo artists also do other things for a livelyhood.
No, I do not have any. I personally do not like them, but to each his own right? I would just be afraid of what they will look like on my body when I get old and my skin is not firm and smooth anymore, but wrinkled and sagging. My Grandfather had one on his arm from when he was in the Navy as a young man. When he was in his 70's, it did not look so great and he said it was something that he regretted doing for the rest of his life.
I also hear of so many people who do get them and then end up with infections or they do not like them and then have to have them removed and that that is very expensive.

It depends on where you go. The tattoo parlor I go to charges by the hour. Some charge by the size and how much color they use. Go to a tattoo parlor and tell them what you want and they will tell you how much it will cost.

From one Mel to another…you are so lucky because ,it hurt worse than giving birth naturally! The dude was torturing me and my big sister had to scream for someone to come rescue me because I was in so much pain! It took over 5 minutes and then when the owner came to finish, it took him 30 seconds to finish the job! I must have been one of the guys first piercings! Its really unique and cute looking. You could get it on the inside of your calf, your shoulder blade, or your lower back. I think that tattoo would look good in any of those places!
