If you are going all out and getting it fairly big, then I think it would be cool in the middle of your upper back.

I like the Maltese cross too. I would stay away from yellow flames, they look tacky to me. And when you have burns on your body, the last thing you want to look at is flames(trust me) And yellow is a hard color to remove. Also, remeber, your skin is probably going to become very red pigmented and perhaps mottled over the years. That's what happened to my arms after working in a foundry. Check out the link.

I have 7 tattoo's and I go to the pool almost everyday. Some people comment on how much they like them and some people say they are trampy. But hey if that's what YOU want to do that's what you want to do. Every tattoo is unique in their own ways. You shouldn't ask someone their opinion, remember it's your body and your choice.. people will have their own opinions but don't let them decide for you.
You are very creative. I like the fact that you are designing your own tattoos. No one will have YOUR designs!
And to the guy that asked what they will look like when she's 65…if the tattoos are done the correct size by an amazing artist, they should look the same, a little migration occurs on even the BEST tattoos.
