I dont know about books to help you out with website design, but I have used Komposer in the past and found it to be quite an easy website designer to use.
komposer is a WYSIWYG editor so you dont have to know html.

If ur getting a Maori based tribal tatt, it must have meaning. It's frowned upon and taken as a disrespect to get one with no meaning. If ur incorporating any Maori totems in the design it is important that u know what they stand for, eg. Mania – Spiritual protector.
