I got a tattoo on my lower ankle area, and it's all black, and mine didn't peal that bad. It itched for a little while but it didn't peal too much. I think it depends on type of skin and skin color.

Faded tattoos are really the least of your worries if you are using tanning beds regularly. Have you thought about getting a spray-tan? They often turn out a better colour – more brown than orange, which you normally get on sunbeds – and they won't fade your tattoos at all, OR give you skin cancer.
