Aslan is directly related to Jesus.  Sometimes it is subtle, and others it is very direct.  There are different symbols in each book.  In The Voyage of the Dawn Treader Aslan is portrayed, literally, as a Lamb and calls himself the Great Bridge Builder.  In A Horse and His Boy, Aslan walks with Shasta and refers to Himself as &quot;I Am&quot;</description>
